Objective:This paper discusses the promoting effect of physical exercise on the coping style of senior high school students,fits the intermediary model of general self-efficacy in the influence of physical exercise on coping style of senior high school students,and provides the research basis for understanding the relationship between physical exercise,general self-efficacy and coping style of senior high school students,and for developing the physical exercise intervention program to enhance self-efficacy and improve coping style.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted among the high school students of Affiliated Middle School of Yangzhou University,Jiangyin Nanjing middle school,Changzhou No.3 middle school and Zhenjiang Xinhu senior middle school.Each set of questionnaires included 4 scales,the self-made demographic scale,the physical exercise rating scale,the general self-efficacy scale for middle school students and the coping style scale for middle school students.A total of 1650 sets were distributed,1650 sets were recovered on the spot,and 1430 sets of valid questionnaires were finally obtained after eliminating the invalid ones,with an effective rate of 86.67%.First of all,the general characteristics of high school students' physical exercise,general self-efficacy and coping style are described and statistically presented;the differences of general self-efficacy and coping style of physical exercise in demographic variables are discussed by independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA;based on correlation and logic analysis,the path analysis method is used to fit physical education The intermediary model of general self-efficacy that exercise improves coping style of senior high school students.Results:(1)High school students' physical exercise(20.825±16.183),general self-efficacy(25.297 ± 5.650),and total score of positive coping style(58.591±8.273)were all at the average level of scale score,and the score of positive coping style was higher than that of negative coping style;(2)The difference of physical exercise amount in gender and grade was statistically significant(Ps<0.05),and the difference of general self-efficacy in gender and student origin was statistically significant(Ps<0.05);the difference of problem-solving dimension of positive coping style in gender and grade is statistically significant(Ps<0.05),and the difference of positive and reasonable explaining dimension in student source and grade is statistically significant(Ps<0.05);(3)There was a significant positive correlation between physical exercise and general self-efficacy of senior high school students(r=0.239);there was a significant positive correlation between physical exercise and positive coping style of senior high school students(r=0.216);there was a significant positive correlation between general self-efficacy and positive coping style of senior high school students(r=0.315);(4)The fitting results of the mediating effect model show that general self-efficacy plays a part of mediating role in the influence of physical exercise on high school students' positive coping style,and the mediating effect is 25.0%.Conclusions:(1)Generally speaking,the amount of physical exercise,general self-efficacy and coping ability of senior high school students are all in the middle level,mainly positive coping style;(2)The amount of physical exercise of male students is higher than that of female students,the amount of physical exercise of senior two students is higher than that of senior one,and the amount of physical exercise of senior three students is the lowest;the self-efficacy of male students is stronger than that of female students,and the city is stronger than that of rural students;the problem-solving ability of urban students is higher than that of rural students,the worst of senior one students,and the strongest of senior two students;the positive and reasonable explanation ability of coping style,male students are stronger than that of female students,senior two students are stronger Students are better than students in senior three;(3)Physical exercise can directly affect the positive coping style or indirectly affect the positive coping style through general self-efficacy.General self-efficacy plays a part of intermediary role in the influence of physical exercise on the positive coping style.
