The first purpose of the study was to explore the present situation of high schoolstudents’ career development,which includes career self-concept and career self-efficacy,bytesting206high school students with revised questionnaire.The second purpose was to doan experiment of career training in the subjects of some students from Senior Grade2.Theresults were as follows:(1)Revised Questionnaires of career self-concept and career self-efficacy was of goodreliability and fair validity.(2)Present situation of career self-concept was as follows:a.The average score each item of Career Self-concept Questionnaire is2.90,which ishigher than2.50.b.The career self-concept of high school students didn’t vary significantly in terms ofgender and major subjects.c.The career self-concept of high school students varied significantly in terms ofgrade.(3)Present situation of career self-concept was as follows:a.The average score each item of Career Self-efficacy Questionnaire is4.22,which ishigher than3.50.b.The career self-efficacy of high school students didn’t vary significantly in terms ofgender and major subjects.c.The career self-efficacy of high school students varied significantly in terms ofgrade.(4)The canonical correlation between career self-concept and career self-efficacy was significant.(5)The career guidance curriculum facilitates career self-efficacy,while there is nosignificant effect on career self-efficacy.
