A Study On Constructing And Implementing MOOC Qaulity Assurance Framework

While MOOC is becoming more and more popular,it's also facing huge challenges and problems,such as low completion rates,poor instructional quality,etc.Therefore,how to improve the status quo of MOOC and how to guarantee the quality of MOOC have triggered a large amount of thinking.Why designing a MOOC quality assurance system for the quality and quality assurance of MOOC? What is the actual situation of using quality assurance system and are there any problems? And how can the quality assurance system guarantee the quality of MOOC? Based on the above doubts and MOOC practice on campus,MOOC quality assurance is considered as the research entry point of this paper.With the method of literature research method,content analysis and action research,this paper firstly analyzes relevant papers and materials of MOOC quality assurance proposed or implemented by different MOOC platforms or organizations and then eight existing MOOC quality assurance systems are summarized through the literature analysis method.Secondly,based on the key elements and characteristics of MOOC,this paper analyzes comprehensively on the ground of unified coding,and then extracts the existing MOOC quality assurance systems from the following three dimensions: analysis,strategy and evaluation.Then,combined relevant theories,literature studies and content analysis results altogether with MOOC practice of Shanghai International Studies university,the quality assurance system of MOOC is further supplemented and improved.Finally,the MOOC quality assurance system is preliminarily constructed.In addition,the author applies the MOOC quality assurance system and summarizes the key points and related solutions during the MOOC production process.The MOOC quality assurance system constructed in this paper is relatively comprehensive and systematic,which can provide quality review and quality guidance for MOOC products,including instructional design and technology standards.Moreover,existing MOOC can also be evaluated according to the refined MOOC quality assurance system.
