Communication is an important condition for people to survive,good communication ability and effective communication behavior in a competitive society is particularly important.Neglected young children are in an unfavourable social position,good communication ability and effective communication behavior are conducive to the improvement of neglected children's social status.The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of the communication behavior of neglected young children and analyze the likelihood factors that influence communication behavior,thereby promoting the development of their communication behavior and improving the social status of young children.This study is a case study,with three neglected children and three popular children in a large class in Wuhan H kindergarten as the object of study.Using peer nomination and teacher interview method to select research objects,collecting the communication behavior events in young children by natural observation method,using the self-compiled" Child Communication Behavior Observation Form"to observe and record the communication behavior of young children,mainly observe the situation of communication behavior in young children,level of willingness of communication behavior,communication behavior emotional attitude,the person to communicate,the relationship between the communicator,the distance of communication,communication functions,communication methods,communication results,etc.A quantitative analysis of the available data yielded the following results:First,the number of neglected young children's communication behavior is significantly less than the number of popular young children communication behavior;Second,there are significant differences in the communication behavior situation between neglected young children and popular young children,but they are mainly teaching activities;Third,there are significant differences in the level of willingness to communicate with neglected young children,mainly active will.However,the willingness of neglected young children to actively communicate is significantly lower than that of popular young children,while passive and rejection will be more likely than popular young children;Fourth,there are significant differences between neglected children and popular young children' communication behavior objects,but they are mainly same-sex peers;Fifth,there are significant differences between neglected children and popular children's communication behavior,but they are mainly same-sex companions;Sixth,there are significant differences in the relationship between neglected children's communication behavior,mainly in the relationship of intimacy;Seventh,there are significant differences in the distance of neglected children's communication behavior,mainly personal distance;Eighth,there are significant differences in the communication behavior function of neglected young children,mainly to attract attention;Ninth,there are significant differences in the behavior of neglected young children's communication behavior,mainly in the combination of language and non-language;Tenth,there are significant differences in the results of neglected young children's communication behavior,mainly success,but the results of neglected young children communication behavior success significantly less than popular young children,failure and failure results more than popular young children.Further analysis of the results of the study,the paper concludes that the outstanding characteristics of neglected young children's communication behavior are:First,the number of communication behaviors is low;Second,the degree of communication behavior initiative is insufficient;Third,communication behavior emotion is dominated by neutral emotion;Fourth,communication behavior is selective;Fifth,communication behavior distance is dominated by personal distance;Sixth,Communication behavior function is mainly attention-grabbing,and Seventh,the success rate of communication behavior results is not high.Based on the research on the results and basic characteristics of neglected communication behavior in young children,the researchers analyzed the influence factors of the communication behavior of neglected young children through interviews with teachers,parents and young children,mainly by the children(the physical and demand of young children),parents(educational methods),teachers(control,attention,communication attitude and teacher authority,etc.)three factors.Therefore,the following recommendations are made:(1)Focus on neglected young children.(2)Teachers should be good at using non-verbal communication.(3)Create a good communication environment for neglected young children.(4)To dilute the teacher's sense of social role.(5)Improve the communication skills of neglected young children.Finally,the researchers reflect on the problems in this study.
