With the deepening of curriculum reform in senior high school,the Ministry of education proposes to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating talents by cultivating the core quality of geography discipline from the perspective of geography education.As one of the components of the core quality of geography,comprehensive thinking is an important research thought of geography.Therefore,teachers should pay attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive thinking ability,so that students can understand,analyze and interpret geographical events from a comprehensive perspective,and view geographical issues dialectically.Because geography is a science to study the geographical environment and the relationship between human activities and the environment.It has regional and comprehensive characteristics.In addition,the relationship between geographical knowledge is more complex.Therefore,it is difficult for students to connect geographical elements and form a complete and systematic knowledge system in their minds.This requires geography teachers to take corresponding teaching methods and measures in teaching,for example,to select appropriate geographical tools and combine them to cultivate students' comprehensive thinking ability in geography.Among them,the characteristics of geography image teaching,such as intuitionistic,vivid and diverse,three-dimensional synthesis,are of great significance to the cultivation of comprehensive thinking ability.It is very important for students to improve their image skills to solve geographical problems and use the overall perspective to analyze and understand geographical environment.Therefore,geographical image teaching is an effective carrier to cultivate students' comprehensive thinking ability.How to make better use of geographical image to cultivate students' comprehensive thinking ability is the focus of this study.At this stage,the research on the comprehensive thinking of Geography in China has increased compared with that before,but its breadth and depth still need to be developed.Therefore,the research on the comprehensive thinking of geography still needs to explore new research directions,so as to improve the theoretical system of the core literacy of geography.Based on this,from the perspective of theory and practice,through combing the relevant research literature and materials of geography comprehensive thinking ability and geography image teaching,the paper makes clear that the cognitive development theory,multiple intelligence theory,constructivism theory and humanism theory are the theoretical basis,and establishes the starting point of this research.Through literature research,questionnaire survey,action research and case analysis,we can learn that geographic image teaching plays an important role in cultivating the comprehensive thinking ability of senior high school students.Through questionnaire survey,teacher interview and case analysis,we can learn the cognition and evaluation of students and teachers on Geographic Image Teaching and comprehensive thinking ability,which is the research of this paper Provide sufficient practical basis.In addition,this paper chooses the image application in geography compulsory one as a case study.Compulsory one focuses on the study of natural geography,in which concepts,principles and laws are the basis of the knowledge and theory of the whole high school geography course,so the pioneer teaching of compulsory one is particularly important.Through the observation and analysis of the current situation of high school geography teachers and students using geographical images to cultivate their comprehensive thinking ability,it is found that there are many problems in the cultivation of their comprehensive thinking ability in the teaching of geographical images:(1)the lack of diversity in classroom teaching,the poor effect of image application;(2)the misunderstanding in students' learning,the weak ability of image interpretation;(3)Teachers neglect ability training,students lack of depth of thinking;(4)image transfer is not enough,practical activities are lack of expansion and other issues.In view of the above problems,different strategies are put forward from the perspective of teachers and students.Teachers should do the following:(1)selecting pictures effectively,cultivating the agility of comprehensive thinking;(2)presentingpictures orderly,cultivating the profundity of comprehensive thinking;(3)reading pictures well,cultivating the originality of comprehensive thinking;(4)interpreting pictures and texts mutually,cultivating the flexibility of comprehensive thinking;(5)using one picture with multiple functions,cultivating the extensiveness of comprehensive thinking;(6)emphasizing practice,cultivating the exploration of comprehensive thinking.In addition,the students should:(1)understand the geographical events through the geographical images;(2)analyze the geographical phenomena through the geographical images;(3)summarize the geographical laws through the geographical images;(4)comb the relationship between people and land through the geographical images.The main innovation of this paper is topic selection innovation.At present,there are many researches on the integrated thinking ability and Geographic Image Teaching alone or in combination with other teaching methods and other core literacy,but there are few practical application researches on the combination of integrated thinking ability and high school image teaching.Based on the principle of entirety,system and dynamics,the geographic image teaching is made through investigation and research Learning method is more suitable for different students and enriches geography teaching methods in senior high school.Based on the teaching practice,this paper studies the application of the teaching method of geographical image in the cultivation of the comprehensive thinking ability of high school students,and puts forward the corresponding teaching and learning strategies.Hope to deepen the understanding of comprehensive thinking and geographical image teaching,to improve the high school geography classroom teaching methods,to provide reference for improving students' interest in learning geography,to provide certain reference for teachers,and to further promote the improvement of the theoretical system of comprehensive thinking.
