Competency model is a kind of theory in the field of management,which refers to the sum of the competency that an individual must have as a specific role.It is a series of competency combined according to the requirements of a specific position.In recent years,it has gradually been widely used in the field of education.It is of great theoretical and practical value to study the competency of Chinese teachers in senior high school by referring to the competency model theory and taking Chinese teachers in senior high school as the research object.In order to construct the competency model of Chinese teachers in senior high school,we first need to collect the competency of Chinese teachers in senior high school through open questionnaire,behavioral event interview and group discussion;then we need to prepare the competency survey table of Chinese teachers in senior high school according to the competency items collected to determine the novice,proficient and expert types of senior high school language Finally,combining the iceberg model theory of competency quality,the paper constructs the competency model of Chinese teachers in senior high school.From top to bottom,the competency model of Chinese teachers in senior high school consists of six dimensions: professional knowledge,professional skills,professional sentiment,self-development,achievement motivation and personal characteristics,including 42 specific competency quality characteristics such as "Chinese ontology knowledge","Pedagogical Knowledge","psychological knowledge" and "Humanistic Quality".The competency quality model can help Chinese teachers in senior high schools to strengthen basic skills,recognize professional characteristics,cultivate achievement motivation,strengthen comprehensive quality,adhere to teaching reflection,improve teaching level,participate in teaching research,enhance innovation awareness,even cultivate teachers' morality and style,and become good people's teachers.
