Revolution in High School Entrance Examination has occurred in Shanxi in 2016.Then the examination mode was established in 2017 and is still in use today.All the questions in the chemistry paper in High School Entrance Examination are based on the Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011-year Edition)in order to "Build Morality and Cultivate People",establish the Subject Connotation,and implement the Core Literacy.As Shuozhou is a relatively backward region in Shanxi,teachers here know little about the content of Chemical Core Literacy.The writer takes the chemical teachers and the junior high students in Shuozhou as the research objects,makes an investigation on the present situation of the Chemical Core Literacy in this region,and shows the research strategy and practice based on the results of the survey.This paper is divided into six parts:The First Part:Introduction.The background,the current research situation at home and abroad,the purpose and significance,and the research methods are introduced in this part.The Second Part:Core concept and theoretical basis.Some core concepts and theories are expounded in this part.The Third Part:Investigation on the present situation of the Chemical Core Literacy in junior high school.Taking the chemical teachers in Shuozhou as the research object the writer conducted a survey on the teachers' cognition of Chemistry Core Literacy and the cultivation of Chemistry Core Literacy on their students.And taking the junior high school students in Shuozhou as the research object,the writer also conducted a survey on the students' cognition of Chemistry Core Literacy.Problems in the cultivation of Chemical Core Literacy are found out through these two questionnaires.The Fourth Part:The strategy analysis of the cultivation of Chemistry Core Literacy in junior high school.According to the problems exposed by the current survey results and combining with the writer's own teaching experience,the writer puts forward the strategy of how to implement the Chemistry Core Literacy in junior high school.The Fifth Part:The practical research on the cultivation of Chemistry Core Literacy in junior high school.According to the strategy proposed by the writer,the teaching content of topic 1 in unit 10 in junior high chemistry textbook(PEP edition)is designed in detail,and the teaching experiment is carried out,hoping to verify the effectiveness of the strategy.The Sixth Part:Conclusion and prospect.The writer verifies the effectiveness of the strategy according to the experimental research,and makes reflections and expectations.
