Practical text teaching is a non-negligible link in Chinese teaching in high school,and it should attract widespread attention.However,practical text teaching is worrying.This paper uses research methods such as literature data method,questionnaire survey method,case analysis method,etc.,on the basis of elaborating the concept of practical text and analyzing the situation of questionnaire,it points out the problems of practical text.Practical texts have a narrow range of genres for selection when they are being arranged;they have limitations;the texts are not new and old;the selection of texts is unreasonable and too concentrated;the examination of practical texts lacks flexibility and the test content is narrow.Teachers can not accurately locate the style of texts when teaching practical texts,and lack of professional literacy,which leads to the lack of relevant knowledge of students,and does not pay attention to training students' interest and ability in practical texts.The paper proposes improvement measures based on this.First of all,the layout of textbooks should increase the number of practical texts and improve their types;change the content of old textbooks and increase fresh blood;Secondly,scientifically develop school-based textbooks to supplement the shortcomings of practical textbooks.Thirdly,teachers must change their teaching concepts and dilute their utilitarian psychology while imparting practical texts;establish the concept of lifelong learning and continuously improve their professional skills;clarify the practical stylistic features and determine teaching goals;and choose teaching methods flexibly according to the stylistic features.Fourth,students should set their minds and focus on practical texts while studying;be brave in practice and combine reading with practice.In order to make the argument more pertinent and persuasive,the dissertation uses the method of classroom records to enumerate the practical implementation of practical text teaching and reflect on it.The situation in which practical texts have been neglected in teaching needs to be changed urgently,so as to finally form a pattern that emphasizes both practical and literary texts.
