The special geography classroom integrates the teaching and learning area,activity area and other multi-functional areas,meets the diversified teaching needs of geography teaching disciplines,and supports the development of various activities such as geographical demonstration,geographical observation and geographical experiment.In the diversified and immersive geography teaching space,it is necessary for students to cultivate their interest in geography learning,improve their comprehensive practical ability and stimulate their creativity under the guidance of teachers.It is very necessary for geography special classroom to be used in high school geography teaching.This paper takes Pingyao middle school in Shanxi Province as an example to explore the practice and application of geography teaching in senior high school.The purpose of this study is to develop a set of suitable teaching contents,corresponding teaching case design,teaching strategies and the evaluation and thinking of teaching effect in the specialized classroom through the practical research of the special classroom in geography teaching.Through the specific teaching practice and questionnaire survey,interview survey to find out the problems in teaching practice,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures,to provide theoretical and practical reference for teachers in the future teaching practice in the special geography classroom.The conclusion drawn from the study is that the application of geography classroom in high school geography teaching is indeed feasible,and the application of geography classroom in high school geography teaching is worth popularizing and popularizing.The application of special geography classroom in high school geography teaching also has certain limitations.Not all teaching contents are suitable for the special classroom,so the special geography classroom is also a tool to assist geography teaching.The suitable teaching content of geography special classroom should be explored in theory and practice.
