With the development of society and curriculum reform,Chinese teaching materials compiled by minister of education emerge at the right moment when the shortcoming of many copies of Chinese teaching materials based on the only one outline becomes more and more obvious.Compared with the previous versions of Chinese teaching materials,the new one reflects a more reasonable and newer arrangement idea and way.Among all the differences,the difference between self-reading texts and teaching to read texts is particularly obvious.However,many teachers fail correctly understand the editors'intention and the teaching value and significance of self-reading texts when they use the textbooks which leads to the self-reading texts are either ignored or taught intensively,so that it can't play a better role in the connection between in class reading and after class reading.This paper will focus on the position,value and the current teaching situation of self-reading texts.At the same time,it will make good use of the current reading teaching methods to carry out case design,so as to provide some references for teaching the Chinese self-reading texts in junior middle school.The introduction part explains the significance of the topic selection and the research status,and points out that the current academic and Chinese community mainly study the teaching method of self-reading texts theoretically,and relatively ignore the prominent changes of self-reading texts in the compilation of new textbooks and lack relatively effective teaching case design.The main body of the paper has three chapters:The first chapter summarizes the position and value of self-reading texts.Firstly,it compares the concept and difference between self-reading texts and teaching to read texts and explains the relationship in teaching and learning between them,based on which it summarizes the position and value of self-reading texts in Chinese textbooks.Self-reading texts can not only internalize the reading methods of teaching to read texts,promote the self-reading and writing ability of students,but also connect in class reading and after class reading.The second chapter takes the edition compiled by the Ministry of Education and edition compiled by People's Education Press OF Chinese teaching materials in junior middle school as the research object.After comparing the selection system,arrangement system and reading aid system of these two edition self-reading materials,it finds that self reading texts not only play an important part in reading teaching system which includes teaching to read,self-reading and after class reading,but also lead students to become self readers and help students read books on their own.In addition,on the basis of sample questionnaire survey and analysis,we can learn the current teaching status of self-reading texts in actual class.Firstly,teachers are unable to understand and position the self-reading texts.Secondly,teachers neglect and have wrong idea about the reading aid system.More over,teacher lack effective teaching methods of self-reading texts.Last but not least,there is no systematic and effective method of measurement and feedback in teaching self-reading texts.Based on the current teaching situation of self-reading texts and the popular new method of reading teaching,it will explore the effective teaching strategies of Chinese self-reading texts in junior middle school in the third chapter.On one hand,it combines the teaching of self-reading with the teaching of group reading.The teaching design of group reading is made by selecting unit text according to the theme,selecting appropriate text of the same type according to the genre and introducing text of the same topic.Each teaching case has corresponding measurement and feedback according to the characteristics of the texts.On the other hand,on the basis of understanding the different types and characteristics of the side criticism and reading tips,this paper makes full use of the reading aid system in the self-reading text to explore feasible teaching cases.The epilogue part summarizes the innovation and shortcomings of the paper in order to bring some reference value to the teaching of Chinese self-reading texts in junior middle school Chinese compiled by the ministry of education.
