The new course standard points out that geography teaching should pay attention to the geographical things that students are familiar with,and emphasize the application of cases in teaching.The geography case around the students exists in the living situation,which has the characteristics of intuition and practical in the meantime,contains rich geography professional knowledge.Based on Literature Review,classroom observation,teacher interviews,questionnaires and other research methods,this research analyzes the use of geographical cases around the status quo,combined with specific cases,case application principles and strategies.The research content is divided into the following three parts:(1)Analyze the connotation of the geographical cases around.The geography case around us is a teaching material that is connected with students' life experiences,integrated with geography professionals and has the characteristics of intuition,practical and situation.As an important course resource of geography,the geography cases around us are of practical significance to the cultivation of geography literacy and the teaching of teachers' life.(2)To analyze the current situation of the application of geographical cases around us.Comprehensive Analysis shows that teachers and students have a high degree of recognition of thegeographical cases around them,but there are some problems such as students' lack of practical ability of knowledge,and teachers' lack of guidance of methodology.The problems are mainly caused by the students' weak sense of geography,the lack of teachers' guidance and the lack of teachers' development ability.(3)To explore the application strategies of the geographical cases around us.The application of peripheral cases should follow the principles of science,geography,openness and inspiration.The model of application strategy includes the strategy of collecting cases by various ways according to the requirements of the goals,the strategy of selecting and compiling cases according to the principles of application,the strategy of reasonably deploying cases considering the type and number of cases The reflective strategies of the relevance of reflective teaching cases,the effectiveness of presentation and the achievement of teaching objectives.
