Lifelong learning ability is a necessary basic literacy for citizens in the 21 st century.The new curriculum standards advocate that traditional teaching methods need to be changed and life-long learning concepts are integrated into basic curriculum teaching to cultivate students' life-long learning ability.As the future builders and successors of the motherland,high school students should not only have solid theoretical foundation knowledge,but also should face the future and acquire the lifelong learning ability to deal with various problems in practical life.Based on the high degree of agreement between the teaching purpose of the project learning model and the lifelong learning ability,the impact on the various dimensions of the lifelong learning ability of high school students were studied in this thesis by implementing project learning in the chemistry classroom of the first year of high school.In this thesis,the content of a high school chemistry compulsory textbook was used as a design basis,combined with the chemistry curriculum standards to try to build a chemistry project learning model that cultivates high school students' lifelong learning ability.Four chemistry project topics were designed and implemented in the chemistry classroom.At the same time,the lifelong learning ability dimensions of high school students were divided into five dimensions: thinking and problem solving ability,self-management ability,information literacy,collaborative communication ability and learn to change.The questionnaire for lifelong learning ability was written and the date was analyzed.Through the research of this thesis,the findings are as follows: first,there is no significant difference between the male and female students' lifelong learning abilities before and after the project learning model by horizontal comparison;in longitudinal contrast,boys have significant differences in thinking and problem-solving abilities and learn to change abilities,and girls have significant differences in information literacy abilities.The project learning model has a positive impact on the five dimensions of the students' lifelong learning ability of the experimental class.Second,the project learning model has a positive effect on the five dimensions of the students' lifelong learning ability of the experimental class students.On the other hand,the self-management ability of the control class and the experimental class is not significantly different.In addition,some suggestions on the cultivation of lifelong learning ability were put forward from the perspective of the implementation of the chemistry project learning model and gender in this article,so as to better provide a reference for the teaching work of first-line chemistry teachers.
