Since the 1990 s,the Internet has spread rapidly around the world,and the society has entered the "information age".In recent years,many history-related films,TV series,documentaries,scientific and educational films and feature films have sprung up like mushrooms after the rain,and the Internet has become a new way for people to acquire historical knowledge.With the development of science,technology and economy,multi-media teaching equipment is gradually popularized.Under the promotion of the new curriculum reform,the 2011 edition of history curriculum standards for compulsory education proposed to apply historical film and television works to history teaching.Due to the characteristics of history,it is difficult for students to get close to history.The image of historical film and television works "reproduces" history,which shortens the distance between students and history,stimulates students' interest in learning,facilitates students' understanding of teaching difficulties,deepens their memory,and improves the effectiveness of classroom teaching.The extensive application of historical film and television works in middle school history teaching has become an inevitable trend in history.However,the historical film and television works are mixed up and some of them require much time.How to choose good historical films and television works and how to edit the historical films and television works are quite worth our thinking.This paper is composed of five parts: the first part defines the concept of historical film and television works.According to the authenticity,historical film and television works are divided into four categories: documentary,scientific and educational film,feature film and historical film and television series.The characteristics of historical films and television works are expounded from three aspects.The second part elaborates the advantages that from the application of the history of film and television works used injunior middle school history teaching according to the characteristics of the historical films history,which is helpful to improve the students' interest in learning,to highlight the teaching key,to break through the teaching difficulties,to cultivate the students' emotion of "Family-country",also helps to promote teachers' professional abilities.The third part,combined with my own teaching experience and interview results,expounds the current situation and problems of teachers' use of historical films and television works in junior middle school history teaching,and students' attitude towards the use of historical films and television works for learning,and takes "twelve hours in chang 'an" as an example to explain some problems that students tend to have in the learning process.In the fourth part,based on my own teaching practice,I recommend some documentaries,scientific and educational films,and feature films that fit with the real history from numerous historical film and television works.I also take the lesson of the Great Wall of steel as an example to combine the historical film and television works with the history lesson in the following three aspects: video introduction to arouse students' interest,video comparison to improve understanding,collect data to improve ability.Reflecting on the teaching practice of "the Great Wall of steel",it makes use of historical film and television works to simplify the complexity,which facilitates students' understanding,breaks through the difficulties,sublimates cognition,and cultivates students' ability to collect and screen historical materials.However,there are still some problems in the process of using historical film and television works.In order to solve the problems existing in the teaching practice,the fifth part firstly introduces the ways to obtain historical film and television works.Secondly,it proposes that the selection of historical film and television works should follow the principle of scientificity,appropriateness and pertinence in view of the improper selection,handling and broadcast of historical film and television works and other issues.Then it recommends common format conversion software,common video editing tools,mobile video editing software and so on.Finally,in order to make the best use of historical film and television works in history teaching,teachers should check the video again in advance before broadcasting the historical film and television works,and make appropriate explanations after broadcasting to help students to distinguish the authenticity.
