Should schools "pursue high scores" or "comprehensive development" ? How to find the balance between "selection" and "education" ? How can the school improve its competitiveness and win better survival and development space? It is not difficult to find that many primary schools in China have not yet jumped out of the "one-sided pursuit of graduation rate" cycle,to find a really suitable for their own development path.In such schools,students are undoubtedly victims of the schools' pursuit of graduation rates.In this situation,to break the one-sided pursuit of graduation rate of the homogeneous development path,the establishment of characteristic schools,not only to meet the personalized development needs of students,but also to improve the core competitiveness of schools.In hainan,a region with weak basic education,the author first focused on the primary school stage,where the pressure of school entrance is relatively small,and selected the E primary school in haikou city,which ranks high in comprehensive strength among many primary schools and has achieved certain achievements in the construction of characteristic schools,to conduct a case study.Starting from the construction practice of characteristic schools with "small flying pigeon" as the cultural symbol,this study summarizes the dynamic process of characteristic schools construction of E primary school from relying on external forces to independent development,and describes the overall characteristic pattern of E primary school,including school philosophy,curriculum system and campus environment.On this basis,this study analyzes the practice and exploration of E primary school in multiple aspects,such as the multi-agent decision-making mechanism,the dynamic mechanism to stimulate the endogenous force,and the guarantee mechanism of the linkage between upper and lower levels,which is the important reason for the independent development of E primary school.The experience of characteristic school construction of E primary school shows that the hidden path dependence behind the "top-down" and "u-s" modes is the deep reason why many school reforms are difficult to succeed.In order to break the path dependence,we must fully stimulate the endogenous motivation of the school,make clear the development goal,and give consideration to the empowerment and energy increase.The practical exploration of E primary school provides an important case for us to re-understand the "characteristic school" and helps us to understand the significance of the "dynamic perspective" to the "characteristic school".
