With the deepening of the new round of curriculum reform,The new high school history textbook,the outline of Chinese and foreign history(Volume 1),is gradually being popularized and used throughout the country.After the new textbook integrates the teaching content of history in Senior High School,the importance of historical materials in the history teaching of senior high school is more significant.Through the change of historical documents in the new textbook,we can see its important position in the history discipline of middle school : historical documents are the basis of the history textbook,are the important component of the teaching content,and also are the important material to cultivate the core quality of history.In the outline of Chinese and foreign history(Volume 1),170 historical materials are quoted through "direct quotation" and "indirect quotation".Compared with the old version of textbooks,the new textbooks show new characteristics: not only large quantity and long length,highlighting the original historical materials,but also various forms,showing a new type preference.However,the application of historical documents in the new teaching materials in the actual teaching is still in the exploration stage,and its current situation is not ideal,mainly reflected in not being fully and effectively used,not giving full play to its role in conserving the core quality of history.Therefore,in order to realize the effective use of historical materials in teaching materials,on the one hand,we need to adjust the reasonable arrangement of teaching contents.Specifically,we should first explain some historical materials in combination with the text,and then set up a special historical materials research and reading course for some difficult historical materials,and finally use the supplementary role of junior high school teaching materials.On the other hand,teachers and students should also put forward higher requirements for themselves.Teachers need to improve their own relevant knowledge and ability,pay attention to the research of literature and historical materials in the new textbook,and focus on the cultivation of students' ability to read literature and historical materials.Students should first master the basic historical facts,then have a systematic understanding of Chinese and foreign history,and then need to read widely to cultivate reading habits and improve the ability to read.
