In August 2017,in order to meet the needs of The Times and implement the policy of “strengthening moral education and cultivating people” in the whole stage of basic education,the compilation team with professors Zhang haipeng and Xu lan as chief editors began to compile history textbooks for senior high schools.After two years,the unified history textbook“The Outline Of Chinese And Foreign History(Volume 1)” has been released.And it had been used on a trial basis in autumn 2019.For a time,how to better adapt to and make use of the book in history teaching has become a common challenge for front-line history teachers.At the same time,the History Curriculum Standard For General Senior High School(2017 edition)takes historical real evidence as one of the five key competencies of history.So,it is necessary to make in-depth analysis and use of the historical materials in textbooks that students can directly access.On the basis of statistics and classification of the historical materials in The Outline Of Chinese And Foreign History(Volume 1),This paper studies the characteristics of the selection of historical materials in the book.Through the research of this paper,the first-line teachers can understand the characteristics of the selection of historical materials in this book,and play a role in the exploration of the above problems.The introduction part of this paper mainly introduces the reason of the topic selection and the significance of the research,sorts out the research related to the textbook historical materials at home and abroad,introduces the theoretical basis of the research,and defines the related concepts involved.The first chapter expounds the importance of selecting historical materials in history textbooks,and divides the historical materials in The Outline Of Chinese And Foreign History(Volume 1)into three categories according to the forms of expression: written historical materials,pictures historical materials and forms historical materials.In chapter two,on the basis of comparison with the three compulsory history textbooks of the People's publishing house(Chinese history),analyzes the characteristics of the selection of written and picture historical materials in The Outline Of Chinese And Foreign History(Volume 1).The third chapter mainly discusses the characteristics of using historical materials in the book.The application of written historical materials in the book pays special attention to the inquiry orientation and focuses on the cultivation of historical interpretation quality.The application of the historical materials of the pictures includes raising questions,enriching the content,deepening the understanding,penetrating the key competenciesand so on.Chapter four is a reflection on the selection of historical materials in The Outline Of Chinese And Foreign History(Volume 1).This paper points out some problems,such as repeated selection of historical materials in the unified of junior middle school,lack of methods to guide the interpretation of historical materials,and some historical materials in classical Chinese is difficult to read.Finally,the author puts forward some Suggestions to the front-line teachers.Such as grasping the spirit of curriculum standards and paying attention to the vertical connection of history teaching in middle and high schools.
