A Study On The Teaching Of Picture Historical Materials In The Outline Of Chinese And Foreign History

History teaching and relevant teaching materials change a lot with the reform of new curriculum and the introduction of 2017 history new curriculum standard.As historical pictures being more and more frequently used in new teaching materials,history teachers come to realize the importance of their application in classroom teaching.A good understanding and application of historical pictures not only helps to reproduce historical facts,but enhances the interest of teaching.Meanwhile,it helps teachers to cultivate students' core qualities.This paper mainly studies the application of historical materials in high school teaching.Basing on existing studies,historical pictures are categorized and characterized.Through case study,the application of historical pictures in current history teaching is analyzed,and its inadequacies are listed from the perspective of both teachers and students.Due to poor understanding of historical pictures and inadequate attention to their applications,teachers make mistakes in their teaching,or are unable to guide their students properly.Meanwhile,students' habits,abilities and awareness of reading historical pictures are yet to be cultivated.Therefore,teachers should not only renew their teaching ideas and store of knowledge,but also pay attention to giving a full play of students' autonomy and enhancing interaction between teachers and students.This paper studies the application of historical pictures and its value in education,providing a reference for front-line teachers in cultivating students' core qualities.In teaching,teachers should categorize historical pictures by their nature,respect the characteristics of students' psychological development and their dominant position in learning,and carry out teaching activities with a flexible application of historical pictures,so as to fulfill their mission of cultivating people.
