The history curriculum standard of senior high school(2017 Edition2020 revision)puts forward five core qualities of history discipline,and the concept of time and space is one of the five core qualities.The curriculum standard defines the concept of time and space as the embodiment of the essence of various core qualities,and divides it into four different levels from shallow to deep.With the reform of curriculum standards,the compilation of textbooks has also changed.The unified edition of high school history textbook outline of Chinese and foreign history has been put into use in several provinces and cities in 2019 and will cover the whole country in 2022.Its compilation is in strict accordance with the design of curriculum standards,takes establishing morality and cultivating people as the fundamental task of history curriculum,and takes cultivating and improving students’ core quality of history discipline as the basic task.Whether it is the cultivation of the five core qualities of middle school students’ history discipline or the use of the new unified edition of high school history textbooks,it is worthy of further exploration by educators.Starting with the study of the content of the new textbook,this paper explores the strategies to cultivate the core literacy of middle school students’ history discipline.The Outline of Chinese and foreign history(Volume II)has incorporated rich historical maps.Using the historical maps in the textbook can well cultivate students’ core quality of space-time concept.This paper summarizes the selection and characteristics of historical maps in the Outline of Chinese and foreign history(Volume II)by classifying and counting the selection of historical maps in the textbook,comparing and analyzing them with the historical maps selected in the first and second volumes of junior middle school history textbooks in the unified edition and the historical maps selected in the high school history textbooks in the people’s Education Edition.In several high schools in Fuyang city,through the distribution of relevant questionnaires,this paper investigates the current situation of cultivating students’ space-time concept literacy by using historical map,explores the problems existing in the actual teaching of the topic selection of this paper,and analyzes the reasons.On the basis of the above research,combined with the previous research theories and achievements,this paper further explores the principles and Strategies of using historical map to cultivate students’ space-time concept literacy. |
