In the 2017 edition of the high school ideological and political curriculum standards,the core literacy of the political discipline was identified as political identity,scientific spirit,awareness of the rule of law,and public participation.These four elements are interdependent and together form an organic whole.The proposal of the core literacy of the subject indicates that the teaching of high school politics has entered a new stage.Teaching goals,teaching methods,and teaching evaluations must all be oriented towards cultivating students' core academic literacy.This topic takes case teaching method as the starting point,and uses this method to promote the cultivation of students' core literacy.Case teaching method,as a teaching method commonly used in high school politics teaching,has certain problems in the implementation process.Therefore,the study of the current use of case teaching has an important role in achieving the core literacy training goals of the subject.Based on a survey of four middle schools in Nanchong,this article will be divided into the following five parts to study the application of case teaching method in the cultivation of political core literacy in middle schools:The first chapter is an introduction,introducing the research background,research purpose,theoretical and practical significance of this research,and summarizing the domestic and foreign case teaching method and related research achievements of core literacy.On this basis,the research ideas and research methods are sorted out,and the innovations and deficiencies of this study are summarized.The second chapter mainly discusses "what",based on cognitive assimilation theory,constructivist learning theory,and recent development zone theory,and discusses the theoretical overview of the core literacy of high school political discipline and case teaching method.This chapter defines the concepts of the core literacy of high school politics and the case teaching method,analyzes the significance of the case teaching method to cultivate the core literacy of high school politics,and then explores the application principles of case teaching method and the application of case core literacy to the case teaching method requirements.The third chapter discusses "how",taking four high schools in Nanchong as an example,and using questionnaires to analyze the current situation of the use of case teaching method in the cultivation of core literacy in high school politics from the perspective of teachers and students.This chapter first explains the basic situation of the survey,and then analyzes the effectiveness of the case teaching method in the cultivation of core literacy in high school politics,and then analyzes the main problems of case teaching method in the cultivation of core literacy in the subject.The fourth chapter mainly discusses "why",and explores the reasons for the problems in the application of case teaching method in the cultivation of core literacy of the subject,and finds that the theoretical teaching research on the core literacy of the subject is still incomplete,the application model of case teaching method is solidified,and the knowledge and ability of teachers It needs to be improved,and the students' learning attitude and knowledge structure are unreasonable.These are the important reasons that restrict the cultivation of core literacy of the discipline by the case teaching method.The fifth chapter mainly discusses the optimization strategy of case teaching method used in the cultivation of core literacy of high school politics,that is,how to do it".Aiming at the problems that case teaching method restricts the cultivation of students' literacy,it puts forward suggestions from three aspects: improving the curriculum teaching system,improving teachers' own quality,and correcting students' learning attitude,in order to optimize the use of case teaching method in high school politics class and improve teaching efficiency promote the cultivation of subject core literacy.
