With the implementation of the new curriculum reform in junior high school,as well as the continuous deepening and integration of quality education in junior middle school politics.As a kind of teaching method,case teaching method has been used in classroom teaching for a long time,its application scope and process have been continuously expanded and improved.Junior middle school politics as a discipline with strong theoretical and practical nature,it is difficult to arouse students' initiative and interest in learning in practical teaching,and it is unavoidable for students to feel boring in the learning process.The application of case teaching method in junior middle school politics teaching not only effectively stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning,but also can improves the teaching effect of the classroom to a great extent.But in the actual classroom teaching,there are still many problems in the application of case teaching method in junior middle school politics,such as the selection of teaching cases is more random,case resources are scarce,problems in the process of case teaching,as well as students' insufficient adaptability to the case teaching method.Therefore,it is of great significance to propose the solutions to these problems in the application of case teaching method in junior middle school politics.This paper is divided into four parts to study the application of case teaching method in junior middle school politics:The first part is the introduction,mainly expounds the background,significance,research status at home and abroad,research ideas and methods,as well as the innovation and shortcomings of this paper.The second part is an summary of case teaching method.First of all,it expounds the connotation of the case teaching method and the specific steps of using the case teaching method,and then it expounds the theoretical basis of case teaching method.At last,it discusses the necessity of applying case teaching method in junior middle school politics class from three aspects: teaching,students and teachers.The third part is the problems and reasons of the application of case teaching method in junior middle school politics.This part points out that there are some problems in the process of applying case teaching method in junior middle school politics class: the lack of improper selection of teaching cases,lack of resources,theoutdated concept of teachers' role dislocation,and low participation of students in class.And further analyze the reasons for these problems from three aspects: the limitations of case teaching method itself,the lack of teachers' teaching ability and cognition,and the lack of students' adaptability to case teaching method.The fourth part is the countermeasures of applying case teaching method in junior middle school politics.In view of the existing problems and reasons,this part puts forward countermeasures from three aspects: promoting the rational application of case resources,improving the professional quality of teachers and improving the ability of students' participation.
