Research starts with problems,problems start with difficulties,and problems start with real dilemmas.Primary and secondary school physical education teachers are the backbone of primary and secondary school physical education work,and are also the lifeblood of the success of primary and secondary school physical education at the practical level.The teaching competency level of primary and middle school physical education teachers is not only directly related to the teaching level and professional growth direction of primary and secondary physical education teachers,but also related to the quality of physical education in primary and secondary schools.Therefore,paying attention to the teaching competency of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools has gradually become a practical issue that the government,education authorities,and primary and secondary schools cannot ignore and must pay attention to.This article uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to investigate the status quo of the teaching competence of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools,and to explore and analyze the practical difficulties and influencing factors in the development of physical education teachers' teaching competence in elementary and secondary schools.Put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the teaching competence of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools.The first part is the preface.The research background of this article is expounded on three aspects: the inevitable requirement to improve the quality of physical education teaching in primary and secondary schools,the realistic need to promote the improvement of the teaching ability ofphysical education teachers in primary and secondary schools,and the interest and attention of researchers;secondly,the article is explained from the theoretical and practical aspects.The significance of the research and the definition of important definitions involved in the article;finally,a summary and review of the relevant literature.The second part describes the research objects and research methods.This article mainly focuses on the teaching competency of primary and middle school physical education teachers,and randomly selects 168 physical education teachers from all primary and secondary schools in Hunan Province as the research object.On the basis of existing research,based on the construction model of competency and related theories of teaching competence,this paper investigates and researches the status quo of teaching competence of primary and middle school physical education teachers.The third part is the investigation of the current situation of teaching competence of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools.Mainly from the survey purpose,survey tools,sample selection,survey implementation,demographic characteristics and other aspects of the investigation and research on the development status of the teaching competence of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools,the survey results show that the average comprehensive index of the teaching competence of primary and secondary physical education teachers is 3.56,Is generally at a good level but there are deficiencies.From the perspective of different genders and different educational backgrounds,although there are differences in the various dimensions of the teaching competence of physical education teachers in elementary andmiddle schools,the differences are not significant.From the perspective of different ages,the teaching competence of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools gradually increases with age.From the perspective of different teaching ages and different professional titles,there are significant differences in some dimensions of teaching competence of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools.The fourth part is the factual dilemma of reasonable promotion of teaching competence of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools.On the basis of a deep analysis of its basic status,the practical difficulties in the development of teaching competence of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools are put forward,including the lack and imbalance of physical education resources in primary and secondary schools,and the effectiveness of training and training of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools.There is no room for optimism,the lack of physical education seminars and observation exchange activities in primary and secondary schools,the lack of motivation of physical education teachers for self-study improvement,and the lack of clear professional values of physical education teachers.The fifth part is the analysis of influencing factors that affect the teaching competence of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools.It mainly analyzes the factors affecting the teaching competence of physical education teachers in elementary and middle schools from the external objective and internal aspects.The external objective factors mainly include the inadequate implementation ofrelevant policies and systems for physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools,the relatively low social status and economic benefits of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools,the backward pre-and post-employment education model of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools,and the support for physical education and research activities and teaching research.Insufficient,the allocation of physical education resources in primary and secondary schools is unbalanced and inadequate;internal factors mainly include the professional knowledge and skills of the physical education teacher,the attitude and motivation of the physical education teacher towards the work,the lack of reflection and ability of the physical education teacher,and the self-learning awareness of the physical education teacher Needs to be strengthened,some physical education teachers are relatively backward in professional concepts,and typical personality characteristics of physical education teachers.The sixth part is the countermeasures and suggestions to improve the teaching competence of physical education teachers in primary and middle schools.Based on the investigation of the status quo of the teaching competence of primary and middle school physical education teachers and the analysis of the reasons for the dilemma,the countermeasures and suggestions are mainly put forward from multiple levels.The government level mainly includes increasing the funding input for physical education in primary and secondary schools,increasing policy support for physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools,improving the social status and remuneration of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools,and improving theworking and living conditions of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools;the education authority level mainly includes Strengthen the pre-service physical education teacher training model that emphasizes both professional and general education,establish a complete in-service training system for primary and secondary school physical education teachers,build a platform for complementing and sharing high-quality physical education resources for primary and secondary schools,and create a display and exchange of teaching results for primary and secondary schools to build physical education teachers Platform;the school level mainly includes the construction of the promotion mechanism of the teaching competence of physical education teachers,the improvement of the training system of the teaching competence of physical education teachers,the appropriate relief or reduction of the professional pressure of physical education teachers,and the guidance of the professional independent growth of physical education teachers;the individual level mainly includes scientific formulation Planning for teaching competency
