Classroom culture is a complex of classroom material culture,classroom system culture,classroom behavior culture,and classroom spiritual culture which plays the standard and guiding role in classroom teaching activities.Based on the author's practical experience of teaching Chinese in PAHOA Primary School in Indonesia,the author uses the qualitative research methods to conduct research on the classroom culture of primary schools in China and Indonesia through literature research,semi-structured interviews,and participant observation,etc.First,this paper compares and analyzes the differences in curriculum setting,classroom material culture,classroom system culture,classroom behavior culture,and classroom spiritual culture between Chinese primary school classroom culture and Indonesian primary school classroom culture represented by PAHOA Primary School.Next,this paper explores the reasons for the differences in classroom culture between Chinese and Indonesian primary schools from six aspects: geographical environment,historical background,educational philosophy,assessment methods,teaching methods and national character.Finally,it puts forward coping strategies for specific problems to help Chinese teachers in Indonesia to better adapt to Indonesian classroom teaching,handle classroom problems,realize harmonious and effective interaction between teachers and students.In addition,the research fills in the blanks in domestic scholars' research on Indonesian classroom culture and the differences between Chinese and Indonesian classroom culture.
