Through questionnaire surveys and interviews to investigate the home-school communication situation of grade three and grade four of three different levels of elementary schools in Y City.It was found that the communication consciousness of both sides of home and school in Y City was strong.But some home-school communication participants were not aware of home-school communication for the overall value of students' individual life development.There is a phenomenon of "emphasizing success instead of growth" and neglecting the development of autonomy.The development of autonomy is an inevitable requirement for pupils to grow-up as an independent individual.The autonomy of pupils in this article mainly manifests as independent and self-conscious,full of responsibility and a sense of self-identity;they are able to comprehensively use relevant information to analyze,think and judge things;in the process of action,they are strong-willed and can manage themselves.From the perspective of the development of pupils' autonomous ability,the current comprehensive home-school communication content in Y City may squeeze the space for independent development of students;casual home-school communication is ineffective in guiding pupils' autonomous growth;excessive home-school communication may cause pupils to close their hearts' door;the method is "convenient",which leads to over-reliance and makes students lose the platform for independent development.In order to strengthen the attention and positive influence of home-school communication on the autonomy of pupils,teachers,parents and education authorities must make corresponding changes.Teachers,as the leader of home-school communication,need to make the most changes.It is the most important task to change the mind and treat students as individuals who develop independently.Secondly,before home-school communication,the necessity,content and the appropriateness of methods of home-school communication should be fully considered from the perspective of education;thirdly,using home-school communication platforms to enhance parents' family education concepts.At the sametime,parents and education authorities should also support and cooperate with teachers' work and provide a free and relaxed external environment.
