Higher education is at the top of the education system.The university graduates are an important pillar of China's science and technology competition and talent competition.It is also an important support for China to take the road of innovation-driven development and achieve a strong country of innovation.College graduates' choice of where to work will directly affect talent flow and regional development.With the expansion of enrollment in China's universities,there has been growing graduates,and the team of graduates who have repeatedly set new records has exacerbated the grim situation in the job market.Faced with the ever-tightening policies for graduates to settle in and the high-threshold talent introduction policy,it is an unavoidable question for students studying in universities in Beijing who come from other districts to stay in Beijing for employment after graduation.This article takes Beijing's college graduates as the research object,and explores the impact of human capital on job hunting in Beijing,with a view to finding the characteristics of graduates from Beijing.While enriching relevant research results,it can provide a reference for universities to adjust their talent training models.And it can also provide employment orientation for students who want to work in Beijing to improve their human capital and enhance their competitiveness in Beijing.First of all,this article focuses the research subject on college graduates,and analyses the research results which focus on the link between human capital and employment,and employment mobility.And the research proposes research hypotheses that human capital has a significant impact on university graduates' employment in Beijing,combining human capital theory and screening hypothesis theory.Based on the existing research literature,the explanatory variables are selected to reflect human capital,and whether the employment of Beijing college graduates in Beijing has a significant impact is explored.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the graduates of ordinary undergraduate colleges in Beijing who graduate in 2019.The paper uses descriptive statistical analysis to describe the basic situation of the survey subjects.The cross-analysis method is used to compare and analyze the characteristics of the graduates who are employed in Beijing and the graduates who are not employed in Beijing.Then use Logistic regression model to study the impact of each human capital characteristic variable on graduate employment in Beijing.In order to test the stability of the results,five common factors that reflect the characteristics of human capital were extracted by the factor analysis method.The common factors were used as explanatory variables,and Logistic regression analysis was performed again.The result shows that human capital plays an important role on the university graduates who want to work in Beijing.Among them,the four human capital characteristics variables of education level,academic performance,English level and computer level have a significant positive impact on employment in Beijing.Graduates who are male,have high annual family income,or parents have strong social ties are easily employed in Beijing.Finally,based on the research conclusions,suggestions are given from the student's own level,the university's level and government's level.Students need to make right concept and do a good job planning.Enhance human capital by raising the level of education.Improve their professional quality by intensive professional learning.Improve their basic quality by strengthening English and computer skills.Colleges and universities should focus on the professional quality of students and subject construction.Adjust the professional settings to train professionals in short supply.Focus on the public courses to improve the basic quality of students and guide students to plan employment rationally.The government should create and maintain a fair employment environment.
