| In 2014,premier Li Keqiang issued the call of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" for the first time,which set off a wave of "makers" in China.Maker education is springing up like mushrooms in various schools.However,behind the delightful scene,maker education also faces many challenges,one of which is the design and development of maker courses.In order to make up for the vacancy in school-based curriculum of maker education in author's school,to solve the problems existing in the author's maker education,improve the quality of maker education in school,combined with the problems in the practice of maker education in primary schools of the author's region,this study puts forward the idea of designing and developing a maker education curriculum that integrates STEAM,and designs a school-based curriculum that combined with the cultural characteristics of the region,based on the characteristics of fourth-grade students in the school,which is corrected and improved in the implementation.In the course of the research,the author first sorted out the literature to understand the domestic and foreign research status of maker curriculum and STEAM maker education curriculum,and then made an in-depth analysis of the connotation and characteristics of maker education and STEAM education to provide research ideas and theoretical basis for this topic.Then,with the theme of ocean culture in ningbo as the theme,combining STEAM education concept with maker education in primary schools.Under the guidance of relevant theories,curriculum contents,implementation strategies and evaluation schemes are designed,and finally a school-based course of maker education for students in our school is formed.Finally,the author took the fourth grade students of our school as the object of curriculum implementation,and carried out teaching practice in the form of club class.After a round of implementation,the effectiveness of the curriculum design was preliminarily verified.The curriculum developed in this study is closely combined with the cultural characteristics of the region.Through the design and implementation of this curriculum,the goal of cultivating students' innovation and practice ability has been achieved to a certain extent. |
