Since the economic reform and open up,Chinese teaching reform has gone through 40 years,and the value orientation of Chinese teaching is constantly changing in middle school.The value orientation is the baton for Chinese teaching,which guides the teaching behavior of teachers and plays a leading role in Chinese classroom teaching.So it is useful to understand the value orientation and the educational rules of Chinese teaching in middle school since the economic reform and open up,which provides reference for the future Chinese teaching in middle schools.The classical text “Zhufu” is selected as the focus of research,and then the development of the value orientation of Chinese teaching in middle school in the past 40 years is analyzed.The development of the value orientation of Chinese teaching in middle school since the economic reform and open up is divided into three stage as follows : the “tool thinking” orientation in the scientism period,the “language thinking” in the quality transition period and the “humanistic quality” orientation in the humanistic return period.The three value orientation of Chinese teachings is analyzed by three different ways.The first way explores the formation of the value orientation from syllabus,curriculum standard and the mainstream teaching concept of Chinese teaching at that time.The second studies the interpretation of “Zhufu” in the Chinese education circles in different periods,and then takes some typical teaching case as examples to prove the development of the value orientation of Chinese teaching in middle schools.The third summarizes the characteristics and confusion by the formation process of the value orientation and analysis of “Zhufu” teaching cases.Based on the analysis on the development of the value orientation of Chinese teaching in middle school since the economic reform and open up,it is found that the value orientation developed from "tools and thoughts" to "humanistic quality standard" meets the requirements of the development of the times,and is an inevitable trend of curriculum reform.Specifically,the content of Chinese teaching is changing from knowledge to literacy,the teaching methods are developing from teaching analytical method to cooperative inquiry one,and teaching objectives are changing from intellectual cultivation to literacy improvement.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to choose and establish the value orientation of Chinese teaching in middle schools.
