Chen Heqin is a great child psychologist and educational reform practitioner in modern China.His educational thoughts have great value to research.There have been a lot of studies on Dr.Chen's thoughts about early childhood education before,however,few of them have explored his ideology on preschool education management and there is a lack of systematic theoretical research in this field.From the perspective of modern educational management theory,this paper will analyze and discuss Dr.Chen's ideology on preschool education management through his school-running practice.First of all,this paper will analyze the conditions of formation of Dr.Chen's preschool education management thought by discussing his historical background,growth and education experience.It will be pointed out that there are two main conditions: the integration of Chinese and western cultures and the requirements of time.Secondly,this paper will summarize Dr.Chen's thoughts on early childhood education management by expounding his practical activities in preschools.There will be two schools selected in this paper which are the most representative,which are Nanjing Gulou preschool and Jiangxi provincial preschool normal college.These two schools were founded and managed by Dr.Chen,which have deep reflection on the child-centered educational management concept.Finally,this paper will focus on the analysis of the value of Chen Heqin's ideology on early childhood education management which can provide reference meanings for the development of contemporary early childhood education.In a word,Chen Heqin's early childhood education management thought has pointed out the direction for running a school in modern China,embodied the goal orientation of modern educators' determination to run education for national prosperity,and reflected the innovative spirit of modern education in educational practice,as well as the advanced idea of early childhood education management,provided a strong value reference for the healthy and sustainable development of China's early childhood education management.
