The "General High School Geography Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" puts forward the requirement for training students' geographical practice abilities,advocates to carry out rich and diverse geographical practice activities in the real life,and innovates the way of cultivating students' geographical practice abilities.Geography survey in senior high school,with a unique educational function,plays an important role in the cultivation of geography practice ability.Taking the geography investigation activities in high school as the research object,this paper uses the methods of literature review,questionnaires,observation and action research and determines the contents of evaluation for geological survey activities practice according to the new standard of geological survey activities and the connotation of geography practice ability.To know more about students,this paper designed a scale for evaluating high school students' abilities of geographical practices.Based on mastering high school students' levels of abilities of geographical practices,this paper designed three surveys: “Survey on Students' Awareness of Waste Sorting”,“Survey on Location Factors of Gu'an Xinglu Modern Agriculture Park” and “Survey on Exploration and Protection of Tourism Resources”.The three activities are able to cultivate students' abilities of geographical practices step by step.Furthermore,this paper puts forward some teaching strategies for senior high school geography survey activities,such as focusing on the cultivation of learning situation,selecting topics according to local conditions,improving the ability to shape the quality,effectively regulating with scientific help,and improving with detailed scale.Finally,this paper proposed practical strategies to provide high school teachers with valuable insights for carrying out geographical surveys and cultivating students' abilities of geographical practices.This paper is organized as follows:The first part is the introduction which analyzes the research background and significance,summarizes domestic and foreign research results and insights,demonstrates the research contents and introduces research methods and technical route.The second part defines the conceptions of geographical survey and abilities of geographical practices and,from the perspectives of pedagogy and psychology,explores the theoretical background of carrying out geographical surveys in senior high schools oriented to cultivating students' abilities of geographical practices.The third part discusses the content of practical ability evaluation of geography survey activities in senior high schools.Combining with the level division of geographical practical ability by curriculum standards,the practical ability evaluation scale of geographical survey activities is developed to focus on the improvement and overall development of students.The fourth part design and implement geography survey activities in senior high school.First of all,through the questionnaire survey,students lack of survey experience,the overall level of practice is low development status.Three geographical survey activities were designed and carried out according to local conditions by making use of local geographical resources.The fifith part conducts a questionnaire survey on the effectiveness of geographical practices and finds out that geographical surveys effectively improve students' abilities of geographical practices.Furthermore,this paper points out that there are several factors,which are teachers' guidance,scientific assistance,comprehensive and feasible evaluation,influencing the effectiveness of geographical practices.The sixth part analyzes the process and effectiveness of geographical surveys and proposes several strategies,oriented to cultivating students' abilities of geographical practices,from five aspects: activity gradient,activity topic selection,activity objective,activity guidance and activity evaluation.The seventh part summarizes the basic conclusions,explains the shortcomings of the research.
