The report of the 19 th national congress points out that China has entered a new era and entered a new historical orientation.The party and the state attach great importance to the development of education,constantly carry out curriculum and teaching reform,and put forward higher requirements for teachers.Because of its comprehensive and practical characteristics,the ideological and political course in senior high school has a unique educational function.It has become the main carrier to realize the basic task of "cultivating morality and cultivating people",and also the main way to promote the overall development of students and improve their comprehensive quality.In order to train students to have comprehensive thinking and become comprehensive talents,this paper takes the implementation of comprehensive teaching in high school ideological and political course as the main research content,according to the existing teaching experience,drawing on the relevant theories,will be discussed from three parts.The first part describes the concept,theoretical basis and dimensions of comprehensive teaching.First of all,this paper expounds the background of the comprehensive teaching,and analyzes the sequence from the big to the small from the development trend of moral education curriculum,the development trend of discipline curriculum and the characteristics of high school ideological and political curriculum.It is pointed out that comprehensive teaching is based on the development trend of subject integration,the requirements of curriculum reform and the needs of students' own development.Secondly,it expounds the theoretical basis of comprehensive teaching,analyzes the theory of comprehensive courses and the theory of optimization of teaching process.The ideological and political course in senior high school is a comprehensive course,and the implementation of comprehensive teaching is conducive to improving the effectiveness of classroom teaching and promoting the optimization of teaching process.Thirdly,it expounds the dimensions of comprehensive teaching,which is mainly manifested in teaching objectives,students' quality,practical activities,teaching evaluation and so on.Each content iscomprehensive,which is helpful to understand the meaning of comprehensive teaching.In the end,according to the related discussion of scholars and their own research,the comprehensive teaching is clearly defined.The second part is the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of comprehensive teaching in the ideological and political course of senior high school.For the necessary part.The implementation of comprehensive teaching of Ideological and political course in senior high school is conducive to the implementation of the curriculum standard of Ideological and political course in senior high school;it is conducive to promoting the construction of Ideological and political course
