Chinese comprehensive course is the main type of Chinese class in Thailand.It focuses on the comprehensive cultivation of four language skills of students: listening,speaking,reading and writing.With the change of teaching environment,the traditional teaching mode of "writing on board and explanation" gradually fails to meet the needs of comprehensive teaching.The "Cone of Experience" is an important theory put forward by Dale in the field of audiovisual education,which clarifies the relationship among all kinds of learning experience and how to choose the appropriate teaching media,so that experience is not easy to be forgotten.The most abstract "word symbol" is taught in the comprehensive Chinese course,which involves a wide range of contents and fits well with the theory of "Cone of Experience".The author believes that using the theory of "Cone of Experience" to guide the teaching design of comprehensive course is helpful to give full play to the role of teaching media,enhance the fun and scientificity of Chinese class,and guide students to internalize the learning experience gradually,so that we can improve the effect of Chinese teaching and enhance the quality of teaching.Based on the theory of "Cone of Experience" and the teaching environment of Pongsirivittaya school in Thailand,this paper takes The Bus Station Is Ahead as an example to make a complete teaching design,and makes teaching evaluation and reflection,so as to provide reference experience for Chinese teaching in Thailand.This paper is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,explains the research program,and summarizes the research status of the related theories of this paper,including "Cone of Experience" and "teaching design for comprehensive course of Chinese as a foreign language".The second chapter is the application of "Cone of Experience" in the teaching of Chinese comprehensive course.First,expound the contents of "Cone of Experience".Then,analyze the relationship between the theory of "Cone of Experience" and the teaching of Chinese comprehensive course to Thailand,and between the model of "Cone" and the teaching of Chinese comprehensive course to Thailand.Finally,the practical application of "Cone of Experience" in teaching is discussed.The third chapteris the concrete teaching design of The Bus Station Is Ahead based on "Cone of Experience".It is divided into two parts: teaching preparation and specific design.The part of teaching preparation mainly analyzes the teaching environment,teaching objects,teaching materials and teaching contents,while the part of specific design includes teaching design ideas and specific teaching processes.The fourth chapter is the evaluation and reflection on the effect of teaching practice.The author evaluates the effectiveness of teaching under the mode of "Cone of Experience" through the comparison with the teaching case of the traditional mode and according to class performance,test scores,and teaching feedback questionnaire.And then the author puts forward improvement methods to problems from the teaching practice,and reflects on the application of the theory of "Cone of Experience" in Chinese teaching to Thailand,hoping it will serve as enlightenment for Chinese teaching in Thailand.
