Since the ministry of education and other 11 ministries and commissions promulgated the opinions on promoting the research and study travel of primary and secondary school students,which clearly put forward the concept of "research and study travel routes",education departments of various provinces and cities have issued research and study related policies,and implemented the new teaching form of comprehensive practice.However,the geography subject under the new curriculum reform has the characteristics of outstanding comprehensiveness,regional significance and practical typical,which is highly consistent with the practical education concept advocated by the research travel.Therefore,the design of a reasonable geography research route plays an important role in improving the efficiency of geography teaching,enriching the resources of geography curriculum and promoting the formation of students' core accomplishment in geography.This paper takes the geography research route design of Hohhot city high school as the research object,explores the design principle and general process of geography research route,and designs the typical geography research route cases of Hohhot city.By means of literature analysis,case analysis,field investigation and action research,10 representative cases were selected from many excellent academic works and journal literature as the research source of this paper.Combining with the theoretical basis to carry out the route design and implementation,give full play to the educational value of geography research courses,improve the teaching efficiency ofgeography research activities,design typical geography research routes with regional characteristics,and provide a new form of geography teaching for the majority of front-line geography teachers.Generalize the research conclusion as follows: First,according to the high school geography curriculum target training and teaching content requirements,combined with studies of travel course nature,induction of high school geography research study travel line nine research study topics,including geographic technology,geological landforms,soil,vegetation,river hydrology,weather,climate,industry,culture,urban and rural landscape and urban space layout and regional sustainable development.Second,summarize the content composition of the travel route plan design of geography research.It includes nine parts: research navigation,research background,research subject content,design ideas,research preparation,research activity objectives,research content design,research evaluation and research reference information.Designed three geographical research travel routes: "unlock the time-space password of the monkey mountain","appreciate the scenery of the green city,appreciate the pulse of the earth" and "commercial opportunity in walking".Thirdly,it puts forward the principles for the design of geographical research travel routes,including the principles of humanity cultivation,scientific nature,directivity,inquiry,efficiency and typicality.Fourthly,it summarizes the general strategy of geography research travel route design,including five aspects: target design strategy,content design strategy,evaluation design strategy,time design strategy,practice location selection and design strategy.
