With the deepening of the new curriculum reform in China,the educational func-tion of the history of mathematics has been paid more and more attention by mathemat-ical educators and researchers,where the field of research on the relationship between the history of mathematics and mathematics education(HPM,History and Pedagogy of Mathematics)has accumulated lots of research results in many aspects.The impor-tant auxiliary role of information technology in mathematics teaching has been widely recognized,and the researches to explore the various applications of information tech-nology in mathematics education is on the rise.The education-oriented history of math-ematical is more expressive with the support of information technology.With the help of information technology,teachers can better show the occurrence and development process of mathematical problems in math class,thus guiding students to think and re-vealing the mathematical thoughts and methods contained in the history of mathematics.From the perspective of deep integration of information technology and mathemat-ics education,this study tries to apply information technology to mathematics teaching from the perspective of HPM,and tries to explore the HPM teaching concept and teach-ing practice mode under the support of information technology.Based on this,two teaching cases are developed and designed.Then,two rounds of teaching experiments were carried out with the two teaching cases as the experimental content.Through the comparison of experimental data,it is concluded that the support of information technology makes it easier for students to understand the content of mathematical his-tory,and students are more likely to find the internal connection between the content of mathematical history and the course content,so as to better guide students to think and stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm in mathematical learning.In this study two aspects of theory and practice of HPM under the information technology to support teaching are studied,for the study of the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching and practice provides a new train of thought,for information technology and the further study of the history of mathematics into mathematics teach-ing in combination with provide reference and reference,is information technology and mathematics education an attempt and exploration depth fusion.There are still many deficiencies in each link of this study,and HPM teaching supported by information technology is looking forward to more in-depth research.
