The fundamental task of education is to cultivate people with morality.In recent years,faced with the phenomenon of moral misconduct among young people,such as school bullying,malicious comparison and disruption of social order,China has made great efforts to cultivate and practice the core socialist values and society,family,school to strengthen the character of the students of the education is increasingly urgent.As the basic stage of education,primary school is the best position to implement character education.However,most of the current research on character education focuses on the development of character education in the United States.Lack of local character curriculum practice research.Therefore,we try to explore the general mode and strategy of character curriculum development in primary school through case study,so as to exert the maximum educational value of character curriculum.Centering on the research question of "how to conduct the development of character courses",the research divides the development process of character courses into four stages: setting course objectives,selecting and organizing course contents,formulating implementation paths and designing course evaluation.Taking F primary school as an example,51 pieces of relevant materials were collected mainly by interview and object collection.Based on the grounded theory and the method of class analysis,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the data,and explores the realistic pattern of "character curriculum development" in F primary school,namely,target dimension,content,implementation path and evaluation mechanism,analyzes its influencing factors,and provides directions for the development of character curriculum in the future.It is found that F primary school has formed a relatively fixed development model of character curriculum,which includes: understanding the concept of character education from the five dimensions of basic content,characteristics,role and status;From "face to self,face to others,face to society" three aspects of character curriculum objectives;Taking "constructing specialized courses,creating school culture,and building home-school cooperation platform" as the main implementation path,the course activeness and cross-disciplinary construction are prominent highlights.With the evaluation form as the carrier,the subject and form of evaluation are diversified.In the course of character curriculum development,there are also a lot of practical problems,which are mainly reflected in the course text,course implementation process and course participants.The development of character curriculum needs the joint efforts of society,parents,schools,teachers and students.In the process of curriculum development,school culture plays a leading role.Therefore,we put forward some Suggestions for the development of character curriculum in primary schools:First,"shaping the soul",condensing the school culture,developing the character curriculum system with "soul" based on the core education concept;the second is "introspection",combing students' experience,dynamically grasping the relationship between presupposition and generation in the course implementation,and ensuring the continuity of character course development.
