Extracurricular reading is not only an important part of Chinese teaching,but also the main way for middle school students to know the world,cultivate their thoughts and set up correct life values.However,according to the current situation of middle school students' extracurricular reading,the result is not optimistic.Compared with literary classics recommended by teachers,middle school students are more inclined to read books about youth literature.The writing style of these youth literature books is relatively relaxed,and the material selection is very close to the life of middle school students,so it is easier for them to have emotional resonance.However,middle school students who are on the verge of adulthood are not mature enough in terms of behavior or ideological consciousness.When they face the mixed youth literature in the market,it is difficult for them to make a correct judgment and choice.This also leads to some reading symptoms such as rebellious values,ignorant and confused emotional views,pursuit of fame and wealth,and hedonistic outlook on life when reading youth literature books.These reading symptoms are not only caused by middle school students themselves,but also by youth literature writers and the surrounding environment of middle school students.Therefore,in view of this situation,we can improve the author's quality,standardize the youth literature writing;The family and the school hand in hand,creates the reading environment together as well as the standard literature market,makes the culture high-quality goods and so on several aspects to solve further.
