In primary school language teaching,the cultivation of students' reading ability has become the core of teachers' teaching.Children's literature,as an important part of students reading content,plays an important role in their learning career.It can be said that children's literature is a good teacher and friend in the process of students' growth.The unique reading advantage of children's literature itself plays a positive role in promoting the efficiency of primary school Chinese extracurricular reading..Firstly,this paper expounds the definition and characteristics of children's literature in detail,and discusses its importance in children's extracurricular reading teaching combined with the characteristics of children's literature.It is concluded that under the background of the new curriculum reform,teachers should attach importance to the teaching of children's literature reading,and constantly improve the efficiency of children's literature extracurricular reading.However,in the actual teaching activities,due to the impact of the concept of examination-oriented education,there are still many problems in the teaching of children's literature after school reading,these problems seriously hinder the promotion of children's literature to primary school students reading.Therefore,the author believes that as a new era of primary school language teachers,children's literature should be deeply aware of the problems in extra-curricular reading,and combined with the concept of new curriculum reform and their own teaching experience,combined with the actual situation of students,analysis and solve problems,to find a feasible reading teaching strategy.In this paper,the author mainly expounds the teaching strategies of children's literature from four aspects: improving teachers children's literature literacy,stimulating students' interest in reading children's literature,building a new teacher-student relationship,and using campus network platform to promote children's literature extracurricular reading.
