The mathematics assignment is the task that teachers select assignment content based on the mathematics assignment goal,requiring students completed it for the non-teaching time.As an independent system under the mathematics curriculum,it complements each other with mathematics teaching complements and promotes the development of mathematics curriculum together.On the one hand,it can guide students to study independently,on the other hand,it also perfect teachers' mathematics teaching.It is an indispensable part of promoting the development of mathematics curriculum and realizing quality education.This study defines the concept of “math assignment design” by combining relevant literatures at home and abroad,and constructs the framework from seven dimensions of homework: goal,content,type,quantity,time,difficulty and stratification.Through questionnaires and interviews,we can understand the current situation of mathematics teachers' homework design in junior high school,and propose corresponding strategies to solve the problems.Through questionnaires and interviews,I have found that nowadays mathematics teachers have the following problems in homework design: teachers lack the awareness of homework goals;homework content is single;homework types are monotonous and boring;homework difficulty is uneven,and the stratification of homework is difficult to implement.In view of the problems existing in the status quo,I tried to put forward corresponding strategies to solve these problems.For example,follow the "student-based" math homework concept;math homework goals could be implemented according to the objectives of the curriculum and teaching;broaden the math homework resources so that we can select math homework content widely;enrich the types of homework to make its content more interesting;design the math stratification homework with reference to the job difficulty model and reflect on the math homework design against math assignment evaluation.
