A new round of reform on national college entrance exam was carried out in 2014,and Zhejiang Province was listed by the Ministry of Education as one of the first pilot provinces.This reform started from many aspects like exam subjects,form and admission systems of colleges.In order to fit into this reform,a new type of teaching mode called classified class emerges.After the investigation on students and teachers from four different high schools in Huzhou,I have a further understanding on the status quo of classified classes,class management and the moral education on students.Next,I analyz issues arise in the classified classes and have an exploration on how to better conduct the classified class mode.While conducting the survey,I found that students,teachers and parents didn't have an adequate understanding on the reform scheme of the new plan of college entrance examination,the dominant position in the course of choosing classes was missing,and they were a bit utilitarian.As for class management,issues like lacking sense of honor,neglecting some parts of the management and encountering difficulties in moral education emerged.To solve the above issues,the research gives the following advice: first,on course selection,schools and parents should be fully prepared when selecting classes;less interference from parents and more respect for students to give students more decision-making power;second,on class management.Currently,Zhejiang Province keeps the original class as its optional class form.As a result,schools are confronted with double management challenges from original classes and optional classes: the effect optional class may bring to the teaching and management of the classes and how to change the management mode and deal with other issues.A scientific method should be adopted and class culture building should be focused on to establish a learning community and enhance the coherence of class;third,on moral education.Priority should be given to the moral education on students through various ways to promote their physical and mental development.Finally,on the future development of optional classes.I firmly believe that at the backdrop of the reform on national college entrance exam,optional classes will promote the all-round development of students,and also the smooth implementation of the reform.
