Study On The Guidance Of College Students' Occupational Values In New Era

As pointed out by General Secretary Xi Jinping in the report of the19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,socialism with Chinese characteristics has crossed the threshold into a new era.New era has entrusted new missions and set new requirements.General Secretary Xi Jinping sincerely hopes that college students in the new era will "erect ideals and convictions in accordance with this era and always undertake the historical responsibility entrusted by the era." However,some college students in the new era are severely utilitarian with poor collective consciousness,lack of professional dedication and other bad professional value orientations,go in opposite direction with the requirements of the era.At the same time,the youth period is a critical stage for students to establish personal occupational values.Therefore,strengthening the guidance of college students' occupational values in the new era,paying adequate attention to this period of developing occupational values,and helping college students in the new era form occupational values up to the requirements of the times are of great practical necessity.As an important part of the personal value system,occupational values are the concrete manifestations of values in occupational area,and play a decisive role in college students' career choice in the new era.Through the investigation of the current situation of college students' occupational values in the new era,this paper is aimed to know whether young college students' career value orientations meet the requirements of the times or go in the opposite direction.With the combined method of questionnaires and interviews as the starting point,this paper seeks questions based on the current situation,and finds answers to the questions,and explores the content,principles and paths of leading college students' occupational values in the new era.Specifically,with the background of the new era as the starting point,combined with the connotation and requirements of the new era,this paper elaborates on the practical necessity of college students to develop correct occupational values in the new era.It is believed that the formation of college students' occupational values up to the requirements in the new era is a crucial cornerstone for personal growth and development,as well as an inevitable requirement for the great mission of realizing Chinese nation's great rejuvenation.On this basis,this paper specifically explains the connotation,theoretical basis and necessity of leading college students' occupational values in the new era.Then,this paper analyzes the results of the investigation and interviews on the current situation of the college students' occupational values in the new era,summarizes the development status,and relevant problems.In the end,the final goal is to propose a leading path.According to the problems of college students' occupational values in the new era,this paper analyzes the causes from four aspects of the society,colleges,family and individual,and summarizes a feasible leading path from government level,college level and family level.It is hoped to guide college students to establish occupational values that can meet the development requirements of the new era,truly care for the country and family,seize the youth and live it to the fullest,realize self-worth and social value in the struggle to achieve the great Chinese nation's revival,and become the rising waves for serving the people and devoting to the motherland.
