STEAM is a course organization method oriented to project learning and problem solving.It integrates science,technology,engineering,art,and mathematics organically,which is conducive to the cultivation of students' innovative ability.The "Compulsory Education Primary School Science Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Education has added technology and engineering fields,and the content in this field is highly consistent with STEAM education.Therefore,STEAM teaching in the science class of elementary school is an exploration of the implementation of educational goals in science literacy and technology and engineering.On the basis of combing the literature,the constructivist learning theory,multiple intelligence theory,the basic theory of instructional design,and project-based learning were identified as the theoretical basis for the study,combined with the "Compulsory Education Primary School Science Curriculum Standards"(2017 edition)and primary school science curriculum Characteristics and psychological characteristics of middle school students in the elementary school.Based on the "STEAM Education Concept" as a theoretical guide,they completed the four-hour teaching design of "parachute making" and conducted teaching practice research.Based on the teaching content and related literature,a pre-test and post-test questionnaire was developed to test the effectiveness of teaching practice,and SPSS statistical software was used to statistically analyze the data.The following conclusions were drawn:(1)STEAM teaching can stimulate primary students Interest in learning science,deepening understanding of knowledge,and improving learning effects;(2)STEAM teaching can improve the ability of students to cooperate in scientific learning and scientific inquiry;(3)STEAM teaching can improve the awareness of primary students to comprehensively use knowledge to solve real problems and ability.Based on the research conclusions,the STEAM classroom teaching suggestions are put forward:(1)carefully select STEAM teaching projects and design reasonable teaching plans;(2)reasonably allocate learning groups to improve the effectiveness of student activities;(3)use diverse evaluations to promote primary school students All-round development;(4)Establish a team of STEAM teachers to improve the teaching effect of STEAM classroom.
