With the growth of China's overall national strength,more and more countries have started the Chinese language craze.A good textbook for teaching Chinese as a foreign language is conducive to the spread of Chinese in the world and better promotes the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language."Learn Chinese with Me" is a set of elementary and intermediate Chinese textbooks for overseas middle school students compiled by Beijing Normal University under the leadership of Hanban.It is used by middle school students in many countries.In the process of learning Chinese for foreign students,Chinese characters are generally considered to be the most difficult part.How to make students master Chinese characters more quickly and easily is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article takes four volumes of "Student's Book" of "Learn Chinese with Me" as the research object,and analyzes the arrangement of Chinese characters in the after-school exercises,in order to find the advantages and disadvantages,dig out the rules that Chinese characters should follow,and put forward the methods and Suggestions for improvement.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter compare with "Outline of Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Chinese Characters" and "General Curriculum of International Chinese Teaching" to determine whether the character selection and character quantity of "Learn Chinese with Me" meet the standards.The second chapter studies the knowledge of “Chinese characters in learning Chinese with me ”from five parts: structure,stroke,stroke sequence,component and word meaning,and analyzes whether the arrangement of teaching materials conforms to the law of Chinese character teaching and whether it is conducive to students' learning.The third and fourth chapters are the key points of the whole paper.They describe and evaluate the arrangement of Chinese characters in "Student Book 1","Student Book 2","Student Book 3" and "Student Book 4".First,they analyze eachlesson by lesson,and then make an overall evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of each book.The fifth chapter puts forward the general knowledge and suggestions for compiling Chinese characters in "Learn Chinese with Me",and the general knowledge includes innovations and deficiencies.
