In the era of new media,the reach of smart phones is wider than before,which provides a new idea for the reform and innovation of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities.General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: "It is necessary to use new media and new technologies to bring work to life,promote the traditional integration of ideological and political work with information technology,and enhance the sense of the times and attractiveness." At present,how to effectively promote the use of mobile phone app to assist the good effect of ideological and political courses,promote the reform and innovation of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,and build a new pattern of ideological and political education,which has become an important issue facing the reform and innovation of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.As a representative product of new media and new technologies,mobile phone app has increasingly become an important carrier and means of classroom interaction and auxiliary teaching in colleges and universities in the era of new media.From the perspective of promoting the reform and innovation of the teaching methods of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities,we can combine traditional teaching classrooms with mobile phone apps,Therefore,the ideological and political classroom will be given a new splendor,and the effectiveness of ideological and political education will be enhanced.During a survey of six colleges and universities in Hohhot,it was found that all colleges and universities have attached great importance to the reform and innovation of the ideological and political courses.But,due to the use of mobile phone app in the Ideological and Political Class has increased the management difficulty,and increased the workload and teaching pressure of some teachers,and concealed the speculative behavior of some collegestudents,and used the mobile phone app to complete tasks that are vulnerable to external interference.As a result,these problems have led to the unsatisfactory of mobile phone app in ideological and political courses.In response to these problems,the focus should be on how to promote the mobile phone app as a tool to assist classroom.First,colleges and universities need to coordinate and integrate multiple forces.Secondly,they need to be "stricken" and "innovative" at the same time.Finally,when ideological and political classes use mobile phone apps to assist teaching should pay attention to combining college students.
