In 2017,under the guidance of the China Youth Football Development Fund, the "HONG Plan " football volunteer education project was officially established. The plan is being piloted in Jiangxi, where Jiangxi Normal University,in conjunction with the local education bureau, and in the context of President Xi's speech : " To develop and revitalize football, start with children, start with grassroots, start with the foundation and start with mass participation." Promote football in rural schools.Through the contact of Yu Jianzhong, the headmaster of Heping Primary School,he established the relationship of volunteer teaching in red land with other village primary schools, and started the attempt to promote football in rural schools(left-behind children).Football education assistance is provided to rural primary schools by football professional college students sent by colleges and universities to promote the physical and mental health of rural children through football intervention. In this study,a total of 1,008 students from grades 1-6 in 3 pilot schools of "HONG" football program in rural nanchang city and 4 rural primary schools were selected as respondents.Cluster sampling was used to select 1008 students.Research shows that:1.The mental health detection rate of those who participated in campus football was lower than that of those who did not.The mental health status of rural primary school students participating in campus football should be optimistic.2.The analysis results of the mental health of rural primary school students who participated in and did not participate in campus football show that,as a specific means of physical exercise, campus football can promote the mental health of rural primary school students.3.The variance analysis of the total scores and factors of the students in three schools with different football forms under the "HONG" plan shows that the school football mode of Ping Ping Primary School is relatively the most beneficial to the mental health of the pupils.4.The results of anOVA and dynamic analysis based on the time axis of years show that the longer you have been involved in football, the better your psychological status will be,and the duration will be two years.Based on the above results,it can be concluded that campus football exercise plays an obvious role in improving the mental health of rural primary school students and plays a more positive role in shaping the mental health of left-behind children. Therefore, this study believes that "HONG" campus football is feasible to improve themental health and personality of left-behind children in rural areas.
