In China,the extensive economic growth model has been maintained for a long period of time,which has led to the emergence of a series of ecological problems such as environmental pollution,resource destruction,soil erosion and species reduction."Environmental protection" has become the focus of global attention.The overall plan for the reform of the ecological civilization system in 2015,and the proposal and implementation of the policy for the construction of ecological civilization in 2012,both show that China attaches great importance to ecological civilization.High school students are the successors of future society.Strengthening ecological civilization education in teaching will help improve students' ecological civilization literacy and develop ecological civilization habits.It is an important part of the construction of ecological civilization in China.This paper first summarizes and analyzes the connotation of ecological civilization education and the research status at home and abroad through the method of literature data.On this basis,a questionnaire survey was conducted among students from Jinqiao School in Nanping City,Fujian Province,and biology teachers from various schools to understand the status of ecological civilization education in high schools.The survey results show that schools and families do not pay enough attention to ecological civilization education.In terms of ecological civilization education,teachers' teaching methods and teaching methods are relatively single.As a result,students' ecological knowledge is relatively lacking,their knowledge of ecological civilization is low,their ecological protection awareness is weak,and their social responsibility in ecological protection is insufficient.Based on the results of the above questionnaire survey,the author tried to use the "Secondary School Biology Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)" as the basis to fully dig up ecological civilization education materials from middle school biology textbooks and use them in biology classroom teaching.The results of the questionnaire survey show that paying attention to the reasonable penetration of ecological civilization education in biology classroom teaching can improve students' awareness of ecological civilization,strengthen social responsibility,and significantly improve their behavior.
