The 1920-1929 is the initial period of Chinese textbooks in the vernacular,which is of great significance.In this period,the Chinese textbooks of middle school have chosen a number of modern texts,and many of them are famous Masterpieces.This article takes the modern selected text of the representative middle school Chinese textbook published in this period as the research object,from the inner and outer two aspects as well as the longitudinal,transverse two angles to carry on the research,in order to better explain the modern selected text characteristic and the beneficial experience.This paper is divided into three chapters,the first chapter mainly analyzes the genre,subject matter,theme thought and related educational theory of modern texts.Through the detailed text analysis and the presentation of specific data,this paper illustrates the characteristics of modern essay genre,subject matter and theme thought,and explains the educational idea and goal of the selection.The second chapter analyzes the background,author and teaching object of modern texts,etc.,which affect the external factors of modern texts.First,it expounds the embodiment of historical environment and social trend of thought in modern literature,and the second is to analyze the social groups and literary schools belonging to the author of the literature to reflect the tendency of modern texts,and the third is to discuss the compilation of modern texts and the teaching situation.The third chapter mainly makes a simple combing and summing up the contents of the first two chapters,at the same time introduces the current three sets of junior high school Chinese teaching materials to compare,reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of modern texts of middle school textbooks in this period,explores useful experiences for reference,and puts forward some suggestions on this basis.Through the study of modern texts in Chinese teaching materials in middle School for 1920-1929 years,on the one hand,we can further examine the development of vernacular language at that time,the relevant educational theories of middle school Chinese,provide necessary historical materials,and on the other hand,it can also provide guidance for the compilation of modern texts of Chinese teaching materials in the future,To better serve the broad masses of teachers and students.
