"Text Reference" refers to the collection and screening of Textbook-related reference materials within the scope of Chinese teaching,so as to broaden students' knowledge,strengthen students' understanding of texts and improve teaching efficiency.In the practice of Chinese teaching,most teachers take texts as the center,refer to relevant materials,quote extracurricular literature,and carry out reading teaching.Thus,it can be seen that referring to relevant texts and citing documents are common teaching approaches in the teaching of Chinese reading.The concept of "text reference" has practical research significance.Based on the practical significance of "text reference",this paper takes Wang Bo's Preface to Tengwang Pavilion as an example,and makes an in-depth analysis of the teaching approach of text reference in order to provide more scientific guidance in the teaching of other texts.This paper is divided into three main parts.The first part is the definition and applicability analysis of the concept of "text reference".Firstly,based on the current academic research on the concepts of "reference" and "text reference",combining the similarities and differences of text reference,comparative reading and contextualize reading,the concept of "text reference" is further clarified on the basis of the academia's understanding of "text reference".Secondly,starting from the characteristics and appreciation direction of poetry,prose,novel and drama,it is concluded that these styles involved in Chinese teaching in middle schools are suitable for text reference teaching.The second part is to clarify the necessity of text reference in Chinese teaching.Firstly,this paper combs the setting of compulsory textbooks for senior high school Chinese in PEP,points out the limitations of the textbooks,and illustrates the importance of using text reference in Chinese teaching.Secondly,it expounds the significance of implementing text reference teaching from four aspects: improving students' reading interest,helping students understand texts,broadening students' knowledge and improving classroom efficiency.The third part is to construct the strategy of using text reference.Taking Tengwang Pavilion Preface as a typical case,this paper constructs a set of practical and effectiveteaching strategies for text reference from four aspects: choosing reference materials related to the original text,choosing reference materials in accordance with learning conditions,ensuring the quantity and quality of reference materials,and guiding students to use text reference methods independently.
