Extra-curricular reading is one of the typical Chinese extra-curricular activities,which is an extension of the Chinese class.It can not only release students' pressure,but also is conducive to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.But now the junior middle school students' reading the overall situation is not optimistic,so the author through the questionnaire survey method,literature method,interview method,six primary schools in Fuzhou as investigation object,and based on this understanding of Fuzhou city junior high school students' reading situation,put forward related Fuzhou extracurricular reading strategies in junior high school students,in order to improve the comprehensive reading ability in junior high school students and Chinese accomplishment as the ultimate goal.This paper consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction.This paper mainly discusses the research status and ideas of extracurricular reading at home and abroad.The second part is an overview of the extracurricular reading.This paper mainly discusses the relevant conceptual theory and the significance of extracurricular reading.The third part is a survey on the extracurricular reading of junior middle school students in Fuzhou.This paper mainly discusses the questionnaire survey of six junior high school students in Fuzhou city and in-depth interviews with students and teachers.The fourth part analyzes the current situation and causes of junior middle school students' extracurricular reading in Fuzhou.According to the questionnaire survey and the interview situation analysis present situation and the reason.The fifth part is the guiding strategy and practice exploration of Fuzhou junior middle school students' extracurricular reading.In order to be able to help improve the extracurricular reading ability of junior high school students.The author believes that in order to improve junior high school students' extracurricular reading ability and their comprehensive literacy,we need to start from the following aspects: holding reading activities to stimulate reading interest;ensuring reading time and providing reading environment;recommending readingbibliography to guide reading methods;changing evaluation concepts and changing evaluation methods.Extracurricular reading needs long-term accumulation.The author believes that it is a long-term process.
