The concept of time and space is one of the five core qualities proposed in the history curriculum standards of ordinary high schools in 2017,which has great guiding significance for the history teaching in middle schools.Although the 2011 version of the "Compulsory Education History Curriculum Standards" did not explicitly put forward the concept of space-time concept,but in the "course goals" and "teaching suggestions",the methods of "understanding historical time series" and "identifying historical maps" are mentioned to cultivate students 'understanding of history,and this is exactly one of the most important strategies to cultivate students' concept of time and space.In particular,after a threeyear transition,starting in the fall of 2019,all junior middle school students across the country will use unified history textbooks.The time sequence of content narration in the unified compilation of junior high school history textbook is stronger,and the space-time concept of the five core qualities of history discipline is more obvious in the unified compilation of junior high school history textbook.Based on the compilation of junior high school history textbooks,combined with his own junior middle school history teaching practice experience,this article explores and analyzes the problems and reasons for junior high school history teaching to cultivate students' concept of time and space through interviews with students and teachers in different schools,and proposes junior high school history Strategies for Cultivating Students' Concept of Time and Space in Teaching.First,schools should create a teaching environment that is conducive to the cultivation of space-time concepts.Second,teachers should use multiple methods to cultivate students' space-time concepts in teaching.Finally,Students should also pay attention to and strengthen their cultivation of time and space concepts.Only by forming the trinity of school,teacher and student,can the strategy of time and space concept cultivation be implemented in the history teaching of junior high school.In order to effectively cultivate students' time and space concepts,teachers should further improve their understanding of the importance of the core literacy of history disciplines,focus on improving their quality of time and space concepts,accurately grasp the relationship between the elements of space and time concepts,and Pay attention to the effective connection between the time and space concept training and the core accomplishment of other historical disciplines,so as to achieve the achievement of the goal of time and space literacy.
