Lecturing refers to a traditional teaching method in which teachers use oral language to impart knowledge.It has advantages like high efficiency on imparting teaching points,and teachers can have great control over the process of teaching.However,with the development of curriculum reform,there is an abnormal phenomenon,even if lecturing plays an important role in history teaching of junior high school,it hasn't received enough attention it deserved.The data from the questionnaires show that lecturing is the most common teaching method used by history teachers,but junior high school history teachers have some problems in history teaching when applying lecturing in teaching.They want to employ lecturing in teaching but they are afraid of doing so,and some teachers will not apply lecturing in teaching where it is useful.Besides,students cannot express their ideas even if they want to do so in the process of learning.These problems greatly affect both teachers' enthusiasm for using lecturing and students' enthusiasm for learning.In order to avoid these problems,this paper puts forward some specific implementation strategies to achieve the normal use of lecturing in junior high school history teaching.These strategies include the following five points.First,classifying knowledge and choosing correct lecturing method according to the classification.Second,teachers should listen to students' ideas when using lecturing in their teaching,and at the same time they need to put forward questions that are related to students' ideas.By creating situations which are similar to history scene,teachers can help students get familiar with history event,and the questions can guide them understand and think about history.As a result,the benefit of enlightenment inherited by lecturing teaching is achieved.Third,teachers should improve their skills in using lecturing,they should take advantage of lecturing to change fixed historical events into useful andinteresting knowledge,which can activate students' enthusiasm for learning and solving the problem of students' lacking of interest in learning.Finally,it is significant to closely connect lecturing with multimedia technology,for multimedia technology has advantages in teaching,but it is also necessary to avoid the phenomena of heavily relying on multimedia technology.Meanwhile,history teachers should update their own educational concepts in time,and constantly enrich their knowledge,improve their professional knowledge quality,pay attention to the value of historical materials,and integrate teachers' feelings into the lecturing,so as to realize the comprehensive development of students' knowledge,ability and emotion.
