| With the deepening of China's social transformation,social work plays an important role in improving people's livelihood and participating in social governance.The demand for social work has increased dramatically.However,from the perspective of the supply side,the problem of brain drain in social work is very serious,especially the high rate of male social worker turnover,which leads to the serious imbalance of gender structure in the social work industry.To promote the rapid development of social work talent team,better meet people's demand for social work,under the premise that the government attaches great importance to the construction of social work talent team,it is more important to solve the problem of male social worker loss,increase the attraction to male social workers,enhance the occupational stability of male social workers,attract more men to engage in social work,and promote the healthy development of social work industry.This study on the loss of male social workers is based on the social workers of private social work institutions and six key private social work institutions in Shijiazhuang city.The questionnaire survey was conducted among 156 people and 16 people were interviewed,including in-service social workers,lost male social workers,heads of institutions and heads of social workers' associations。The research using the method of questionnaire investigation and interview,focuses on the basic situation of social workers and the loss of male social workers in private social work institutions in Shijiazhuang city.Based on the in-depth analysis of the survey data,it is concluded that the occupational stability of male social workers is poor and the loss of male social workers is serious,summed up the main characteristics of the loss of male social workers:the outflow of male social workers aged between 24 and 27 years old is mostly,the outflow of bachelor's degree is mostly,the outflow of unmarried male social workers is more,the outflow of household registration in this city is more,abd the outflow of male social workers without professional qualification certificate is more likely;The paper also analyzed the influence of factors such as backward developmentof social work professionalization,low social recognition,strong traditional concept of gender division of labor,immature organizational management mode,and poor salary of social workers on the loss of male social workers.In order to solve the problem of male social workers' loss,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and Suggestions to stabilize the male social workers' team and promote the expansion of the male social workers' team from the aspects of attaching importance to the construction of social workers' team,strengthening the construction of social work system,optimizing the way of organization management and enhancing the sense of professional recognition.Although the sample of this study is limited to Shijiazhuang,but male social workers loss problem not only exists in Shijiazhuang city,but it is a very universal problem,therefore,this research can provide reference and reference for the related research in this field,to promote social work team construction,especially in male social workers team construction has a certain practical significance. |
