With the demand of diverse talents in today's society,the teaching field pays more attention to the individual differences of students,so as to better promote the all-round development of students.In junior high school art teaching,students' cognitive structure,knowledge level,hobbies,and learning styles are all very different.Students develop a unique learning style in the learning process.This learning style is called learning style.The art discipline pays more attention to tapping students 'artistic potential.Teachers should pay attention to students' learning styles,choose teaching strategies according to their aptitude,and meet the learning needs of different students,so that students can better display their specialties,and complete teaching goals and training requirements more efficiently.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which elaborates the research background and significance,the study style research present situation,the research method,the research viewpoint and the mentality.The second part is the summary and theoretical support of learning style.The author chooses Felder-Silverman learning style theory as the research theory of this paper by combing the famous learning style theory at home and abroad.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of the learning style and art "design application"learning field of junior high school students,analyzing in depth the distribution characteristics of learning style of junior high school students of different grades and gender,as well as the fine arts "design application" the study domain basic situation.The fourth part is to formulate the art teaching strategy based on the learning style in junior middle school,and follow the teaching strategy principles of teaching students according to their aptitude and stimulating the sense of identity,it puts forward the strategies of teaching resources integration,teaching methods of learning style difference,assignment classification and teaching evaluation diversification.The fifth part is about the teaching case of "design application" of art in junior middle school.The teaching practice is carried out in art class,and the teaching results are analyzed from learning interest,personal advantage and homework.The sixth part is the summary,mainly elaborates the research achievement and the existence question.
